Thousands of people in Turkey have participated in the Palestinian marches

Today in several cities of Turkey hundreds of thousands of people took part in marches in support of the Palestinians and Sumud Humanities, which tried to reach Gaza, reports the Associated Press.

During the largest demonstration in Istanbul, the crowded mob moved from the famous Temple of St. Sofia to the shore of a golden horn, where they were met, decorated with Turkish and Palestinian flags.

The participants of the march in front of the former Byzantine temple, which currently acts as a mosque, called on Muslims to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

Protesters in the Turkish capital Ankara have kept flags and posters, condemning the "genocide" in Gaza. And in the western port Izmir, residents expressed their support for Sumud International Navy, who had suspended the Israeli armed forces last week during an attempt to violate the gas pipeline.

Fishing boats in Van Lake, East Turkey, and the divers of Palestinian flags and posters, and thousands of people standing on the shores of the lake welcomed them.
