Within the framework of the official visit to Greece, the education of the Republic of Armenia, science. Minister of Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan also visited the National Technical University of Athens.
According to the IAEA, issues related to bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education and science were discussed during the meeting with Rector of the University.
Minister Zhanna Andreasyan thanked for the reception, emphasizing that Greece's visit is effective in terms of sectoral cooperation, taking into account that the Ministry of Education and Sports of Greek and the Ministry of Education and Sports of Greece. A cooperation program was signed in the fields of education and science.
In this context, the Minister highlighted the development of interuniversity ties, emphasizing that large-scale reforms are being implemented in the Armenian higher education system, which are also aimed at expanding international relations. The Minister presented the Academic City program, as well as the possibility of implementing bilateral programs with the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.
The rector of the National Technical University of Athens thanked the minister for the visit, emphasizing that they are interested in developing cooperation with Armenian universities.
The parties touched upon the possibilities of exchange of students and lecturers, the implementation of joint research programs, in particular emphasizing the development of cooperation within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program.
After the meeting, RA Minister of Education Explion of RA Minister of Education Ioannis Khatjigeorgi was toured by the National Technical University of Athens, got acquainted with laboratories, modern technical equipment, research.
RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Tigran Mkrtchyan and Adviser to the Minister of Education to the Minister of Education also took part in the visit to the National Technical University of Athens.
