Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on making Russian citizens' citizenship to citizens of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
They will not be required to maintain the requirements of the history of permanent residence, Russian language and Russia in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Citizens of Abkhazia and South Ossetia can apply to Russian diplomatic missions in those countries. If they live in Russia, they will be able to apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
