Today, an increase in the level of air pollution was recorded in several streets of Tbilisi and Batumi.
Aliq.ge:According to the air quality portal, concentrations of nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and benzene (C₆H₆) in three streets are higher than normal.
BPN presented the streets where extremely high levels of these substances were recorded:
- Tbilisi, Rustaveli Avenue N6. Air quality: bad. nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) levels have increased.
- Batumi, Mayakovsky street N4, surroundings. Air quality: bad. nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) levels have increased.
- Batumi, Bakradze street N28, around the terminal. Air quality: bad. benzene (C₆H₆) level increased.
In other cities of Georgia, according to the presented data, air quality is currently satisfactory, good or very good.
