On October 9-10, RA-GDR bilateral defense consultations were held in Berlin, in which the delegation led by the head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, Levon Ayvazyan, took part.
During the meetings held in the international security policy and international cooperation departments of the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany, a number of issues related to international and regional security were discussed, as well as the prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Levon Ayvazyan presented the military-political situation created around Armenia and its development trends, and in that context highlighted the "Crossroads of Peace" project, as well as the process of transformation of the RA Armed Forces. The sides discussed and expressed mutual satisfaction with the progress of bilateral defense cooperation in 2024, and emphasized the significant development of it. the potential. As a result of the discussions, the 2025 program of cooperation in the field of defense was agreed, which includes dozens of activities in the exchange of experience, education and training, as well as in a number of areas of mutual interest.
