The President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, has said that he will ban American planes carrying deported Colombians from entering the country, he wrote on the X social network.
"The United States cannot treat Colombian migrants as criminals.
I forbid the entry of American planes carrying Colombian migrants into our territory," wrote Petro.
He also said that the United States must develop a protocol for the decent treatment of migrants before Colombia can start accepting them again.
