"Last week, the inaugural meeting of the tender board formed for the selection of candidates for the president of the Anti-Corruption Committee took place in the government, and the composition of the board became known.
Edgar Arsenyan, head of the department for monitoring the legality of pre-trial proceedings in the anti-corruption committee of the Prosecutor General's Office, Aharon Nersisyan, adviser to the NA president, who previously worked in the investigative department, Yefrem Karapetyan, head of the department of anti-corruption policy development and monitoring of the Ministry of Justice, Karen Tumanyan, member of the Central Committee of the Central Prosecutor's Office, head of the "Union of Informed Citizens" NGO. Daniel Ioannisyan, lawyer of Sakuntsi Association Ani Chatinyan.
The council had to elect a president, Chatinyan nominated Karen Tumanyan, the latter, by the way, worked in the Vanadzor HCA office sponsored by the Soros Foundation in the early 2000s. In other words, half of the commission, 3 members plus Ioannisyan, are of a known orientation and can jointly decide the head of the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Of course, recently it is obvious that Pashinyan has handed over the management of the power bloc to the Syrians, Westerners, Americans, but they could at least ensure formal impartiality and not form such a one-sided competition council."
