"According to our information, the principals of public schools have been instructed to collect the textbooks of the third graders who made a fuss in their mother tongue, in order to change the picture of the burning flag on the book cover with a new one.
They informed that they will send self-adhesive pictures to schools to be pasted over the photo with the burning flag.
To remind: Back in the summer, there was a big fuss about this topic, users on social networks published the last page of the cover of the textbook "Motherland 3", in which the flag of Armenia seems to be burning. People blamed the authors of the book, uttered insulting expressions, insults, that this symbolism was intentionally included in the book. on
The authors of the textbook issued a clarification, stating that the mentioned page has absolutely nothing to do with the design presented by them, and that there was a technical error during printing, etc.
Now they have decided to apologize and, in fact, show that they did not deliberately place such an anti-national picture on the textbook.
It is obvious that before the upcoming elections, the government has decided to edit noisy and sensitive topics, to create the impression that they are not anti-national elements introduced from outside to destroy Armenian statehood."
