Andranik Piloyan, the former minister of AI, was sentenced to prison


The anti-corruption criminal court has published the verdict in the case of former Minister of State of Ukraine, national hero Andranik Piloyan.

He was found guilty of abuse of official powers, receiving large bribes, and large-scale fraud, which was committed by a group of persons with prior agreement.

A final sentence of 4 years and 5 months was imposed on Piloyan, counting the period of detention to the 5 years of imprisonment.

Piloyan was deprived of the right to hold certain public service positions for a period of 3 years, in addition, a fine of 1 million 300 thousand drams was imposed.

It should be noted that Tigran Davtyan was the judge in this case.
