As we reported, Srbuhi Galyan was awarded the Anticorruption Champions Awards. According to the Ministry of Justice, the award was presented to her by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
"The Bureau of Drug Enforcement and Law Enforcement Cooperation of the US Department of State recognized Srbuhi Galyan as one of the leaders in the fight against corruption in 2024 for using the confiscation of property of illegal origin as an important tool in the fight against corruption.
This internationally recognized and prestigious award documents the country's commitment to fight against corruption, it aims to recognize and support individuals and organizations fighting against corruption.
This award is given to individuals fighting corruption in different countries of the world who have made a significant contribution to anti-corruption activities.
The main features are to encourage and support anti-corruption figures from different countries of the world and support the increase of transparency and accountability to Srbuhi Galyan, reminding that he is the winner of the first Anticorruption Champions Awards in Armenia," the message says.
