Militants invaded the Iranian embassy in Damascus.
Telegram channels reported this. Earlier, The New York Times wrote that employees of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus and high-ranking commanders of the "Al-Quds" unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) began to leave Syria.
A part of the diplomatic staff of Iran, their families and Iranian civilians started to leave the territory of the republic in the direction of Iraq and Lebanon on the morning of December 6. Some of the evacuees were taken by plane to Tehran, the rest by land routes to Lebanon, Iraq and the Syrian port of Latakia.
