Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan writes:
"Since the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" has never existed and does not exist in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, neither historically, nor geographically, nor administratively, nor culturally, nor does it exist. there can be no "Western Azerbaijanis" or even more truly competent community, structures or organizations representing them.
Organized at the level of the Koltnetasak club, but under the grand name "Rights of Return" imposed by the propaganda machine of the barbaric administration of Baku, allegedly during the conference, the demands presented to Armenia by the dictator of Baku are as baseless and artificial as calling the cancerous entity led by him Azerbaijan at one time.
Meanwhile, the insolence of the barbaric leader of Baku has reached such a point that he dares, shaking his fist, to make demands of such an ancient civilization and state as Armenia.
The real vision of a truly safe and developing Armenia should not imply satisfying the demands of this group, but at least silencing it."
