The UFC Freedom 250 tournament held near the White House on June 14 caused a loss of 30 million dollars for the organizers.
TKO Group Holdings, the owner of UFC, informed investors that the profitability of the company has decreased significantly due to the specifics of the tournament.
TKO financial director Andrew Schleimer noted that the organization spent more than usual to organize the tournament.
They tried to close the damages through partnership agreements.
According to him, the impact and damages of the tournament were felt both on the UFC and on the general financial indicators of the company.
