Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlasca has announced that the entry of migrants from Morocco to Ceuta has been completely stopped.
"Regarding the current situation, illegal entries have been completely stopped," he said at a press conference broadcast by Spanish media.
He added that necessary forces have been deployed on both sides of the border to ensure this. Earlier on Tuesday, Grande-Marlasca said that about 72,000 migrants had entered Ceuta and about 70,000 had already returned.
