On July 29, the officers of the Yerevan City Department of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Department of the Community Police conducted an enhanced service with the Yerevan patrols in Ajapnyak administrative district. This is reported by the police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On the basis of operational information, the police conducted targeted inspections at isolated addresses and possible gathering places of persons with tendencies towards the criminal subculture during the enhanced service.
As a result of the measures taken, narcotics and firearms were found.
The enhanced services implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs police for the purpose of ensuring public safety, crime prevention and detection are continuous in nature.
