The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Edogan, made a speech within the framework of the main session of the "Summit of the European Political Community" held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. This is reported by the international media. Erdogan touched on security issues and emphasized that they are not only military threats, terrorist attacks and strategies of hybrid wars and emphasized that in this context everyone is affected by cyber attacks, migration, epidemics, etc.
He added that Europe's multi-faceted security issues will be discussed in Budapest and said: "A significant number of threats to our peace, stability and well-being have reached such proportions that we cannot overcome them alone."
In this context, Erdogan referred to the process of Turkey joining the European Union and complained: "There is no reasonable explanation for the fact that the issue of the membership of a candidate country like Turkey, which has an important contribution to the welfare and security of the continent, has been obstructed for years."
