Since 2010, the sitcom "Kargin series" starring Hayk Marutyan and Mkrtich Arzumanyan was shown on Armenia TV, which was one of the first projects of this genre on the Armenian airwaves.
The series "Kargin" was rated, successful and popular until now, almost 16 years after it was broadcast.
Thanks to this project, Areg Galoyan became famous as well, who played Aramik, the son of Mkrtich Arzumanyan's character, Adik. At the time of the premiere of the sitcom, Areg was only 9 years old.
Areg is currently engaged in musical activities. Areg reflected on the positive and negative aspects of his role in the "Kargin series" and becoming famous from an early age and noted that "happiness is not in all that."
"First, for the sake of justice, I want to mention that as a child I never dreamed of being famous or in the center of attention.
I used to go to the theater because I loved the theater and the people in the theater. But, of course, after appearing in "Kargin series", my life completely changed.
And, like everything in life, this has its good and bad sides. For example, everyone knew me on the street. And it was very pleasant on the one hand, people greeted me in a unique way, loved and supported me.
But at the same time, as a child, I couldn't do stupid things on the street because everyone knew me.
I spent my entire childhood surrounded by very talented, enthusiastic people, and especially children, who went through all that with me and grew up.
But at the same time, there are very few people outside of that small group who understand what you've been through, what you've been through, or what it's like on this side.
Or the fact that as a child you are at the point that people dream about all their life, but at the same time, you understand that happiness is not in it at all," said Areg.
