At the same time, the Iranian media reports that an attack was made on the base of the US Fifth Fleet in the territory of Bahrain, where a fire has now broken out.
The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates announced that the country's air defense forces repelled the attacks carried out by ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. According to the UAE department, the sounds of explosions heard by residents in different parts of the country were due to the work of anti-aircraft defenses, which intercepted air targets. The sudden aggravation of the situation is a result of the US announcement by which Washington announced retaliatory strikes against Iran due to the attack by Iranian forces on a civilian ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
