"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"We tried to find out from the CEC in which polling stations the servicemen participated in voting. They said that no information regarding the participation of servicemen is subject to publication. By combining the data published in open sources, we found out, for example, how many soldiers participated in the election in Sotk.
A week before the elections, the Ministry of Internal Affairs published the numbers of voters by polling stations. According to that, 695 voters had the right to vote in Sotk settlement of Gegharkunik marz (electoral district 20/56). According to CEC data, 1183 participated in the election in this district, of which 517 were from the main list of voters. The remaining 666 are the number of soldiers and voters who received electoral rights on the same day by court order. Moreover, in Gegharkunik Marz, only 4 people applied to the court to receive electoral rights. And the voting results in Sotuk were distributed like this.
1 person voted in favor of "Reformists", "I oppose all" - 15, "Strong Armenia" - 177, Grace State Party of Armenia - 4, "New Power" - 19, "Wings of Unity" - 13, "Prosperous Armenia" - 73, NDB - 4, Kochar's National Revival and Awakening Party - 3, ANC - 1, "Republic": 3, Christian-Democratic Party: 1, "Democratic Consolidation": 2, DOK: 4, "Armenia" Bloc: 115, "For the Republic": 5, LAP: 7. CP received 718 votes in this polling station. In other words, 447 elected the other 17 forces, 19 ballots were invalid. It means that if 666 soldiers had not participated in the election, the CP would have suffered a crushing defeat in this polling station, receiving barely 10-20 votes.
