US President Donald Trump said that he considers his visit to China this week "very successful". According to him, the trip "gave very useful results", reports NPR.
"We have concluded many deals. A lot has happened, and you will find out about it later," Trump told reporters after returning from the PRC without further details.
The US president spent 2 days in Beijing and had a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Chinese leader called Trump's visit "historic and significant" and briefly noted that some "important agreements" were reached, but did not elaborate on what exactly it was about. The head of the White House also announced that the return visit of the Chinese leader to the USA is planned in the fall.
