US President Donald Trump's son Eric plans to sue former White House press secretary Jen Psaki and the MS Now TV channel for defamation. During his MS Now program, Psaki hinted that Eric had allegedly joined his father on his recent trip to China for business purposes.
“I intend to sue Jen Psaki and MS Now. I have no commercial interest in China," Eric Trump wrote on Facebook. The son of the American leader emphasized that he went to China to support his father at an "incredible moment" and that Eric visited the Great Wall of China with his wife during the talks between Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The US leader arrived in China on May 13, and the state visit ended on May 15.
