On April 23, an argument and fight took place in Syunik region. Around 02:10, the Kapan Department of the Community Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information that a citizen was taken to the Kapan Medical Center accompanied by a relative with a diagnosis of "concussion, hematoma of the eye area" as a result of falling down the stairs. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, the operational team of the Kapan police department went to the hospital, where it was found that the victim was Syunik. 20-year-old Hrachik P. is a resident of the region. According to Shamshyan, as a result of the measures taken by the officers of the Kapan Police Department, it was found out that the physical injuries to Hrachik P. were caused by 21-year-old Tigran L., 17-year-old N., residents of Syunik marz. B., 17-year-old N. H., 15-year-old V. A. and 16-year-old Sh. G., in the area adjacent to secondary school No. 5 in Kapan city, as a result of being beaten. According to the photojournalist, the above-mentioned persons were found by the police on the same day and taken to the Kapan police department. Documents were prepared in the Kapan police department about the incident, which were transferred to the Syunik Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
