US President Donald Trump has stated that he believes that NATO will not come to the aid of Washington if it is involved in a major military conflict. "If we got into a major conflict, or even a bigger one, I don't think NATO would be with us," he said in an interview with Salem News.
Considering his upcoming visit to China, Trump clarified that he prefers to have good relations with Beijing.
"We have a very strong relationship, and I think it's better to get along with China than to go to war, and they feel the same way," the US president said.
