We were told that several options were being discussed. We learned from our source at the Ministry of Justice that they have made a preliminary decision that probation officers will accompany those under house arrest to the polling stations and back to their homes.
The option of taking the ballot box home was also discussed. It should be noted that the measure of "house arrest" was introduced in Armenia within the framework of the new criminal procedure regulations. It came into effect on July 1, 2023, when the new Criminal Procedure Code came into force.
