Due to the war against Iran by the USA and Israel, the lack of aviation fuel may disrupt the European holiday season, Politico European publication writes, referring to the Ministry of Energy of the European Commission (EC).
Meanwhile, EU Energy Commissioner Dan Jorgensen, as reported by Politico, warned that even if the Strait of Hormuz opens, the EU's aviation fuel situation will not improve this summer, as oil infrastructure in the Middle East has been severely damaged in the fighting.
He believes that the aviation fuel supply crisis can only get worse. Europe has already had many flight cancellations due to rising fuel prices, and airfares are also rising.
