In 2024, under the name of border demarcation, around 15 hectares of land from the village of Kirants was unilaterally and illegally handed over to Azerbaijan. The owners of these lands were offered large monetary compensations by a secret decision of the government. 6 families from Kirants fundamentally refused to receive monetary compensation, saying that they are against handing over the lands they defended with the blood of heroes and their lives to Azerbaijan, and taking money for land is not moral.
And the residents, who received monetary compensation for the lands they own by right of ownership, justify themselves that they handed over their lands not to Azerbaijan, but to the Republic of Armenia, the state, and the RA state paid them compensation.
Sooner or later, the government should answer the question of what these lands were given in return. And why did they surrender, if complete demarcation has not been done and it is not known on the basis of which maps it will be done. In addition, when will the enemy's troops leave our sovereign territory and return the lands that belong to us indisputably?
