Ukraine will need 20-25 years to build a strong economy with the active support of the European Union. This opinion was expressed by the European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius in his video message at the conference dedicated to Ukraine's support in Poland.
"Ukraine's success is something that the European Union can provide. Thanks to the European aid in Ukraine's accession to the EU, Ukraine can become an "economic tiger" within 20-25 years, he said. Kubilius noted that he considers such a period a promising prospect for Ukraine.
"Such a success story in Ukraine can become a source of inspiration and an opportunity for the transformation of Russia," Kubilius added.
