And now I want to say a few words about Iran's response to Trump's ultimatum. According to the Wall Street Journal, Iran rejected the ultimatum and announced through intermediaries that it has at its disposal about 15,000 missiles and about 45,000 drones, with which it can still inflict great damage on its enemies. When reading this answer, I immediately remembered the answer of the command of the newly created Armenian army centered in Artsakh in the 1720s to the commander-in-chief of the Ottoman army, Sari-Mustafa Pasha. In 1725 the latter had sent a messenger to the "Armenians of Sghnakh", demanding five years' worth of taxes and tribute from them. In case of refusal, he threatened to invade Karabakh with troops and destroy the country. According to an archival document written in Russian, "The Armenians of Sghnak answered him: 'We have no money, but each of us has one rifle and one sword. And if you really attack us, we will fight against you with the help of God. And we are not afraid of you, because the number of our fighters is large, forty thousand people.'" In fact, as I noticed in my previous post, Armenian and Iranian warriors have quite similar archetypal thinking: dignity, resistance, self-sacrifice for the sake of the motherland. And all of that is also clearly expressed in the unity of language and logic. We hope that Iran will withstand the great trials ahead and will continue to support Armenia. Let's also hope that Trump and the new-day fascist course he adopted will be defeated in the United States itself. God willing. H.c.
