Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace, and that "Russia's massive strikes are a clear proof that the Kremlin does not need agreements."
He said this in his evening video message on Thursday, January 15.
He said that he spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. According to him, they discussed the need to strengthen air defense and diplomatic work with the United States.
"Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace. Russian missiles, Russian "Martyrs" and Russia's attempts to destroy Ukraine are a clear proof that Russia does not need agreements at all," said the country's president.
He criticized Russia for "leaving Ukrainians without electricity for 20-30 hours".
