Tim Cook is going to leave the position of CEO of Apple in 2026, the Financial Times reports.
"Apple is intensifying efforts to implement a leadership change process, preparing for Tim Cook to step down as CEO as early as next year.
The candidacy of John Ternus, the company's senior vice president, is being considered to replace Cook in that position, but no final decision has been made yet," the message says.
According to the Financial Times source, the change in Apple's leadership is due to the company's recent unsatisfactory indicators.
