The Armenian government has confirmed the signing of an agreement with the European Commission on providing 5 million euros of financial assistance to the republic to ensure nuclear safety.
"To approve the proposal to conclude a financing agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Commission within the framework of the program "Strengthening nuclear safety and radiation protection in the Republic of Armenia".
To instruct the Minister of Finance to organize the signing of the international agreement," said the decision, the draft of which was presented by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Davit Khudatyan.
In the justification of the government's decision, it is mentioned that within the framework of the agreement, financial assistance of 5 million euros will be provided to Armenia.
