On October 25, after midnight, a report was received from the Operational Control Center of the Police to the Department of the Criminal Police of Yerevan that there was an argument in the third district of Davtashen.
An operative group has left for the mentioned place. While the law enforcement officers were taking urgent actions, the "Armenia" medical center reported that 33-year-old Shmavon Atoyan, who was taken to medical aid with a gunshot wound, died without regaining consciousness.
The officers of the Main Department of the Criminal Police also joined the discovery work. One fired 9mm bullet was found at the scene. The compiled documents were sent to the investigative department of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts.
According to the measures taken by the criminal police of Yerevan, it was found that the crime was committed by a 30-year-old resident of Gevorg Emini Street of the capital. He is arrested. The circumstances are being clarified. An investigation is underway.
