As of 10:00 on October 12, the rescue service continues to fire exfectionery. About 1,100 tons of water were used and about 500 marches were implemented to prevent the spread of fire.
9 fire brigades and 2 operative groups were involved in firefighting. Total 43 Rescue Servants, Yerevan Municipality forces with water pipes and engineering equipment.
There are smoking fires.
Fire extinguishing works are intensively ongoing.
It should be reminded that a fire broke out in Nubarashen landfill on the night of October 10, the large cloud of smoke from different parts of Yerevan appeared.
On October 11, the RA Investigation Committee said that the landfill was initiated by criminal proceedings with the features of Article 369, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (violating the safety rules for treating hazardous chemical or biological substances or waste).
