Prague stated that Kiev received up to 3.5 million projects on the Czech initiative

In 2024 and 2025, Ukraine received up to 3.5 million artillery projectiles within the framework of the Czech initiative. This was stated by the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, who is currently in the United States.

"We launched an initiative to supply ammunition, which is supplied to protected Ukrainians under 3.5 million large caliber. This remains the main tool for their defense, "he said.

He noted that the Czech Republic was one of the first countries, which provided military assistance to Ukraine after February 24, 2022.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on February 17, 2010, Pavel said that the republic has found an opportunity for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to buy artillery from third countries with the financial participation of Western states.
