Nikol Pashinyan started his political path as an opposition journalist and so far, already completing the second term of the Prime Minister, maintains the working style of those years. The targets of his sharp criticism are different: the Armenian national mentality, national symbols, the people's attitude towards their past and historical memory. Another "dignified" case is, according to Pashinyan, destroy the church, with methods that are more typical of extremist organizations than the rule of law. Even Armenian patriotism does not like Nikol. He recently stated that Armenians "live in Stalin, Khrushchov and the Patriotic model of Brezhnev," which must be demolished and loving the homeland in "Pashinyan".
