There are regulated clergymen, former churches, those who have had conflicts with the church leadership or are simply dissatisfied.
Pashinyan is trying to involve them in the split process, proposing to cooperate and create a new church structure, subject to the current government. He literally tempts the clergy, questioning the Church's regulations. Why should priests be subjected to bishops? Pashinyan is asking.
When the critical posts of Aram Asatryan, a clergyman of Hovhanavank, Pashinyan immediately responded to the high church clergyman, Pashinyan responded immediately. He openly stated that he was ready to support and reward for each priest, which will be negatively expressed about the AAC.
He offers to turn any internal disagreement into a scandal, any personal dissatisfaction, political tools. Fortunately, most Armenian clergy are not given such temptations. Even the dissatisfied ones understand that now is not time to have critical speeches to the Mother See.
The priest who will perform against AAC is actually united with Pashinyan, whose policy is openly anti-Armenian. People with dignity, not random people, choose the way to serve the church. There are few among them who want to make public accounts public for personal ambitions.
And to cooperate with Pashinyan, it means being smoked. Everyone understands that it is impossible to be clerical and cooperating with Pashinyan's anti-church image.
This high-ranking clergyman decided not to endanger his flocks who tried to protect him from power, and not to endanger Holy Etchmiadzin, where he could hide in a calm and long time. He voluntarily introduced himself to investigative bodies and from that moment be detained. And prosecutors who signed the arrest orders have received rise in positions.
Pashinyan has to award the few who agree to participate in the persecution of the Church. Their names are: Hayk Hovhannisyan and Vahan Harutyunyan. The country must recognize these names. Armenian clergy must now make a choice. But that choice will not be difficult. Pashinyan's attempts, to divide the Armenian Apostolic Church, only strengthen the unity of the Church.
And Pashinyan himself will become more ridiculous than ever.
