Today, February 11, a major and tragic car accident took place in Armavir region. Around 9:10 p.m., "Nissan Altima" and "Ford" cars collided on the Alashkert-Armavir highway.
"As a result of the accident, 1 person died on the spot, 2 people were taken to the "Armavir" medical center with various degrees of physical injuries. The citizens were the first to help the injured, and according to their reports, the rescuers of the Armavir fire rescue squad of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA arrived promptly and brought the injured to the ambulance, and the doctors provided first aid to the injured on the spot before taking them to the hospital.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Armavir Marz Battalion of the Armed Forces of Armenia to the Armavir Marz Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived.
