This small silver cow kept in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is not just an art. It was part of the ancient ceremony, which was made 5,000 years ago. Huge Archaeological Wealth is only 16.3 cm high, made of 98.5% pure silver.
According to Donald Hansen, a professor of the Art University of New York, this statue is unique. He is human and animal traits that merge hybrid. The head of the cow, with the missing horns, sits on the shoulders of man, and the body is covered with ornaments, which covers folded legs. The manlike statue ends with horns that catch the vessel. Hansen noted that there is no smooth basis on the statue, so it could not stand on the hard surface on their own.
The ancient silver cow was prepared in Elam, the current Southwest Iran, where the existing proto-elamit culture assimilated its first civilization.
