In Australia, scientists have discovered a new pathogen, the transmitters of which the bats are reported, saidThe Telegraphto.
Pathogen is called "Salt Gully" virus. It is connected to two other viruses, Nipah and Hendra, which classify the World Health Organization (WHO) as "primary pathogens."
There are currently no evidence that "Salt Gullly" can infect people. Researchers of the National Scientific Agency of Australia have said they cannot say about how the situation will develop in the future, and whether its dissemination will lead to the outbreak of diseases.
