Ukraine's security guarantees can be ready in the early week, after which the work of the "political path" can begin. The statement came from Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Kislitsa, which was part of the Kiev delegation at the meeting of Vladimir Zelensky and US President Donald Trump.
"If we are talking about security guarantees, this is a very important and difficult issue. And it will take at least one week to prepare the final draft of security guarantees for Ukraine.
In the ideal case, we can have the first project next week, after which the leadership must decide how we will work in terms of politics on that document, "said Kislitsyan.
He added that security guarantees should be agreed by Western Allies of Kiev and "cannot be discussed with Russia."
