The Russia-US summit in Alaska gave significant progress in defining the outlines and parameters of the conflict settlement in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated.
"After the Russia-US Summit in Alaska, where significant progress has been made, when the European countries followed Mr. Zellenski and tried to advance their agenda, this could not cause any other feeling," Lavrov said in a joint press conference with the head of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump discussed ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict during a meeting in Alaska on August 15.
