Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called on Ukraine's diplomatic settlement in Ukraine, which will protect Europe and Kiev's interests.
"The priority is the termination of the war," the Prime Minister wrote in X.
"We are in favor of a diplomatic solution, which will protect the interests of the vital security of Ukraine and Europe."
US President Donald Trump announced on August 8 that he expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15. The programs of these talks have approved Russian President Yuri Ushakov.
According to him, the leaders will focus on the discussion of the long-term peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The Kremlin expects the next meeting of Putin and Trump to take place in Russia, Netov said.
