Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed confidence that the ruling Georgian Dream and Democratic Georgia party will win in all 64 municipalities of the country, in the upcoming local self-government bodies.
"We are fully focused on our electoral issues. We have only one goal and task to win all 64 communities, both mayor and the congregation level. We are fully confident that we will win in all 64 communities in the mayoral and congregation elections, "Kobakhidze told reporters.
The local elections to local self-government bodies will be held on October 4. Seventeen parties have expressed a desire to participate. Some opposition parties refused to participate, as they think that the parliamentary elections in October 2024 were rigged.
