The visitor of the "Comedian" at the Pompido-Metz Center in the east of France damaged the "comedian" with a banana, which was sold by 6.2 million euros last year last year.

The administration of the exhibition center assured that "the integrity of the work has not been violated," as bananas are actually replaced. The author of the installation, in turn, complained that the visitor "confused fruit with his work with his work."

The "comedy" installation was presented in 2019 at the Gener Art Garden of the American city (Florida). The work caused a lot of turmoil, and as a result, due to security reasons, the public exhibition even had to stop. Security officials could not control the multitude of visitors. According to himself, they will make his work, mainly the idea, so the bananas, which is part of the installation, must change regularly.
