Iran is ready to strengthen relations with Qatar and appreciates the Deheed mediation efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
"Noting the friendly and strong relations between Iran and Qatar reaffirmed Iran's desire to continue and strengthen bilateral relations, based on the principle of good-neighth and mutual interests, which has been the statement of the Iranian State Television and Radio Company.
The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister praised the role of Qatar in "preventing further exacerbation in the region."
Tehran noted that Tehran will not allow the hostile actions of Israel and the United States to lead to disagreements between Iran and the countries of the region. In his turn, Al-heaneifi pointed out "special relations" between Doha and Tehran, calling on all countries in the region to make joint efforts to ensure security and stability.
