During a private conversation after the ceremony, King Siamon congratulated Ambassador Suren Baghdasaryan on assuming his mission, wishing him success and effective activities for the development of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the peoples of Armenia and Cambodia. He conveyed his warm greetings to the RA President, the Prime Minister and the people, wishing Armenia peace and progress.
The king expressed confidence that Armenia and Cambodia have significant potential to deepen cooperation in trade, tourism, education, culture and other areas as part of international organizations, particularly Francophonie.
In his turn, Ambassador Baghdasaryan reaffirmed the readiness of the Armenian side with joint efforts to promote the development of bilateral political dialogue, the development of economic ties, the development of high-level mutual visits, as well as promoting cultural and educational exchanges.
