China opposes the continuation of Israel's military operations in Gaza and hopes that the parties will effectively carry out the ceasefire agreement, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ler Jian said in a briefing.
Earlier on Monday, the Israeli military-political cabinet unanimously approved the expansion program in the Gaza Strip, which includes the occupation and maintenance of areas, transporting safe areas of the population and massive strokes against the Palestinian radicals.
"China pays special attention to the current situation between Palestine and Israel and opposes the continuation of Israel's military operation in Gaza."
