Scientists have found that Ozzempik reduces the desire for meat

Scientists from the University of Arkansas have found that the drug loss drugs encourage people to refuse not only fast food but also carbonated drinks and red meat. The results of the study were published in the "Quality and Preference" magazine.

The drugs (eg, Ozzempik), which belongs to the agonists of the GLP-1 or Glucagonical Peptide -1 receptors, was originally developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. However, their appetite and the ability to reduce the body weight allowed the medicine to use obesity treatment. Studies have shown that the use of these foods facilitates sugar, fast food and alcohol.

About 2,000 people took part in the new survey, which were distributed to four groups of GLP-1, graduating from the course to start planners and a controller group. More than 70% of GLP-1 receptors aggregate users have declined to reduce the use of over-busy food, factory-produced sweets, chips and cold meat. Another 50% reported a reduction in carbonated drinks and desire to red meat.

However, researchers say that the desire for unhealthy food does not completely disappear, it only becomes less expressed. The only food categories whose consumption has increased, the fruits are green and water.

The authors emphasize that the growing popularity of GLP-1 drugs has already begun to influence the food market, forcing the producers to review products that will better suit new consumer preferences.
