Have been named oils that help you live longer

Scientists from Brigham and Women's Medical Center have found that the use of soy, canola and olive oil reduces the risk of deadly cancer and cardiovascular disease, and butter, on the contrary, increases it. The results of the study were published in Jama Internal Medicine.

Scientists have reached these conclusions as a result of the observation of the health condition of 200,000 adult volunteers. For 30 years, researchers have followed the diet of the participants, paying special attention to the use of different types of flora and fauna.

The results showed that the danger of early deaths in the most buttered participants was 15% higher than the least used volunteers. On the other hand, vegetable oils reduced the probability of early death by 16%. It turned out that soy, canola and olive oils are especially useful for the cardiovascular system.

Researchers also found that replacing 10 grams of butter with equivalent vegetarian oils a day reduces the risk of deadly cancer and general mortality by 17%. Scientists have suggested that this influence is explained by reducing fat content in vegetable oils.

Saturated fats can be harmful to health if they are very used. They are associated with the development of cardiovascular disease, obesity and other pathologies.
