Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Beirut, Ali Baresh Ulusoy, presented details regarding the operation of the Turkish government to evacuate its own citizens from Lebanon. This is reported by ermenihaber.am. He informed that on September 9, 2 ships belonging to the Turkish Navy arrived at the port of Beirut. "These ships with a capacity of approximately 2,000 people will be ready to transport the citizens who applied to us from Lebanon to Mersi," he said, then announced that such an evacuation process is taking place for the first time in the world. He also noted that the ships delivered 300 tons of humanitarian cargo to Lebanon with the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.
